Recordings I'm On

New England Bluegrass Band: Things in Life
This project has a variety of traditional, modern and original tunes that captures the essence of NEBB. It was a blast recording this cd. Things in Life features special guests Zack Hickman on bass and John McGann on mandolin. My guitar solo to "I Wonder What You See in Your Dreams" was featured in Flatpicking Guitar Magazine Vol.9 Number 1 Nov/Dec issue 2004.

Erica Brown: Imagine That, Taking Notes
Erica is like family. She has been performing since she was just a little thing and I've always respected the determination and drive that she possesses. She continues to grow as a musician, and I always enjoy playing music with her. Just Taking Notes was the first of three projects that I've been involved with. The second -- Imagine That -- features Andy Hall on dobro and Ron Stewart on fiddle/banjo and bass. Her most recent cd -- Box of Memories -- has just been released.

Chris Pandolfi: The Handoff
I met Chris at the Cantab Lounge in Boston jamming with some of his friends. He turned my head when I heard him play. I new right then that I wanted to play music with him. He had a creative rawness to his playing that was fresh and original. We soon got together and picked, and the rest is history. He became a member of The New England Bluegrass Band shortly after. I'm proud to be a part of his solo project. All the tunes are written by Chris and are very thoughtful and interesting. He also has the support of some amazing musicians on this.

Joni Shea: Temple of Pretend
I first met Joni when she came to me for guitar lessons. After she figured out how to play a handfull of chords she realized that writing songs came very naturally to her and from there she pursued her calling. It was cool to record unrehearsed, letting the feel of the song dictate the direction of my guitar solos. This recording consists of all original tunes.
Temple of Pretend is available for purchase at CD Baby.

High Range: Beyond the Foothills
This band has a creative, unique style all their own. They are easy to listen to, entertaining on stage and a joy to play with. Their cd was given a great review by Bluegrass Unlimited Magazine. I recorded on the tune "Cutting Grass". It's rippin', so hold on...

Adam Dewey & Crazy Creek: Adam Dewey & Crazy Creek
I played with Crazy Creek for about five years. We performed all over New England and did a European tour together. This cd has a lot of hard driving traditional tunes as well as some cool original ones. It was a great learning experience recording this cd...

The Bogus Family: Back Where I Come From
The Bogus Family was a band that formed at the infamous Thomas Point Beach Bluegrass Festival. The same weekend we formed, we entered the band competition and won. We gigged for about a year or so and decided to record this cd.

Gary Pomerleau: Eye to Eye
Gary is one heck of a fiddler. He recorded this cd before his European tour with White Mountain Bluegrass Band. I was thrilled to be a part of it.
